Each year, the AAHS recognizes a select few establishments around the world with the International Star Diamond Award, and for the first time, on Thursday, January 20th, 6 brands from Grupo Anderson’s, the best restaurant group in Mexico, were honored with this recognition.
The awards ceremony took place at one of the group’s most renowned restaurants, Ilios Greek Estiatorio, located on Presidente Masaryk, one of the most important avenues in Mexico City, where there were many celebrities present, such as Carla Estrada, Pascal Nadaud, Ana Jimena Villanueva, Tefi Valenzuela, Julio Bracho, Paco Zea, Pedro Montiel, among many others.
Since its creation in 1949 by iconic singer Frank Sinatra, The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS) has been recognized as the ultimate authority in the world for rewarding and recognizing the best restaurants, hotels, corporations, destinations, celebrities, chefs, hoteliers, and VIP figures that provide excellence in service and luxury.
With over 58 years of experience and more than 50 units present in 4 countries, Grupo Anderson’s stands out for its excellence in service, quality, and standards within the industry to which it belongs, which has made it occupy a highly important place in the industry. During its 58 years in business, they have received different international awards and distinctions in various sectors such as hospitality, architecture, gastronomy, and marketing. This year, after a thorough evaluation and review by Joseph D. Cinque, president of the AAHS, the diamond award was given to 6 of Grupo Anderson’s brands.
