From an initial goal of 5 million pesos, La Vicenta raised $7,308,990 from 507 investors in less than 24 hours. To date, it is considered the brand with the best start to a round on Play Business.
The amount raised was used to relocate La Vicenta Cancun, and just three months after reaching the goal, the first results of the investment are beginning to show, demonstrating that La Vicenta is a solid concept with exponential growth linked to the brand’s positioning within the sector.
This relocation not only involved a change of location but a complete reengineering of our restaurant concept, presenting a renewed, modern, and chic image that immediately conquered the public. La Vicenta Cancun went from being a local favorite to one of the most sought-after steakhouses by those seeking a gastronomic experience, both locals and tourists, without losing the fun essence that characterizes us.
The new location increased capacity by 35%, accompanied by a menu reengineering, which revolutionized the classic grill dishes we were accustomed to, giving rise to a new cuisine that speaks for itself and presents La Vicenta as a unique restaurant of its kind. Thanks to this, sales have increased by 105% compared to the previous location.
Moreover, part of the remaining investment will be used to remodel La Vicenta Vallejo in 2022, continuing the brand’s image renovation in more and more locations, and bringing the same success from Cancun to each of our locations.
