RALLY TO CELEBRATE EASTER AT HOME
The month of the child has arrived, this month in which we take a little look back to remember that at some point we were all children and how happy we were with the celebration of Easter. April comes at a difficult time, as we are going through a contingency that forces us to stay at home in quarantine for our own well-being.
So, can we celebrate Easter?
Yes, let’s celebrate at home!
It’s perfect to have some fun with the family and the kids, or if you live alone with roomies, you can organize it to feel like kids again, and you’ll have a great time!
What do we need?
It is important that we have some games, traditional Easter candies, and chocolate eggs, of course. Once we have what we need for our rally at home, let’s organize the games with the chocolate egg hunt, the food, and the breaks. Let’s get to work!
Guess the eggs!
We will need a basket full of different-sized chocolate eggs or painted hard-boiled eggs, white sheets of paper, and paper. Hand out a sheet of paper and pencil to each participant and ask them to write down their name and the number of eggs they think are in the basket. Whoever guesses or comes closest to the number wins the basket of chocolate eggs! Or painted hard-boiled eggs.
Egg and spoon races!
If you have enough space at home or yard, perfect for this game. Here we will need (drum roll) eggs, and a spoon. They can be raw or hard-boiled eggs, preferably hard-boiled and painted to make them more fun.
Line up the participants side by side in a starting line – tip! It’s best to do this game on grass or some soft surface, to give the eggs a chance to fall off! Set a goal where the winner arrives.
Ready! Off you go! All participants start running towards the goal while trying to keep their eggs safely on the spoons. If the egg falls and is not broken, the participant can pick up the egg and continue the race. If it breaks, he/she is disqualified. The first participant to reach the finish line wins! Prepare prizes for second and third place as well.

Everyone will enjoy the thrill of searching for and finding chocolate eggs with an egg hunt, a classic Easter celebration.
We’ll need all the space in the house, candy, Easter eggs, or other surprises to put inside the plastic eggs. Hide the candy or Easter eggs inside the house, kitchen, living room, patio, bathrooms, bedrooms, library, den, etc. Be sure to remember the amount you are hiding and the locations, make sure you have enough for each participant.

Once everyone has found all the eggs and surprises, it’s time to enjoy the prizes.
