Last Sunday, October 30, took place in Mexico City, one of the most anticipated events for everyone in our country, the Grand Prix of Mexico 2022, where La Vicenta was present for the second time in the yellow, green and blue zones.
After a race full of emotion and struggle, for the second consecutive year, “Checo” Perez took third place on the podium at the Mexican Grand Prix. A triumph that was celebrated by all Mexican fans of this sport and that fills the whole nation with pride.
The second place went to Lewis Hamilton, who had a great race, and despite all his efforts to place himself in the first position and his hard-fought duel with the Red Bull team, he did not manage to climb to the first position, which for the second consecutive year was dominated by Max Verstappen, the Dutchman who proved that it is possible to win 14 podiums in a row.
The surprise in this edition of the Formula 1 Grand Prix was given by the fans, who broke the attendance record in this 2022 edition with a total of 395,902 throughout the weekend. Something that had not been seen in Mexico since the sanitary restrictions of last year’s edition.
During the weekend event, many emotions were experienced, such as the Mazatlan Carnival, which was the show to open the great race, aerial parades, the presence of several celebrities who celebrated and enjoyed the race with their families, among many others.
