To the chili! Nobody told 2021 to take it easy, that’s why we have to enjoy to the fullest every great event that happens like this July 15, when the chili season begins… chiles en nogada! We have to be more specific because some people get overexcited.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This delicacy was created by the Augustinian nuns of the Santa Monica convent, who prepared this dish in 1821 for Agustin de Iturbide after signing the Mexican Independence. The celebrations took place in Puebla and it is no surprise when we tell you that they knew how to celebrate like there was no tomorrow. The city was full of decorations and flowers with the most representative colors of the Trigarante flag, even the Augustinian nuns decorated the chiles en nogada with the colors of the flag; that is why parsley, nogada and pomegranate became the representatives of Mexican ideals.<\/p>\n

We couldn’t let you down as your favorite restaurant, that’s why we added chiles en nogada to our menu but with the special touch of the grill experts.
